New Site Theme in the Works!

Museum Human is testing out new site themes, so expect a bit of breakage.
After a good seven-year run, the developer behind the site's longtime theme stopped supporting the code about a year ago. Having a custom theme in Ghost is nice but often adds some extra work on the developer end when Ghost rolls out new features. For the past year, I haven't been able to take advantage of an increasing number of these features. While the site was still basically functioning, since I've started posting again this month, this is a more urgent problem to resolve.
So, it's time to try out some new themes … and, no doubt, break the site a little. If you're checking out Museum Human this week, you'll notice one (or more) new looks as I experiment with different themes and figure out what works and what breaks. (A lot of Ghost themes have trouble reading Museum Human's subject tags, for instance.) I'll be taking a whack at fixes any issues myself (no vibe coding here!), then reaching out to Ghost's pretty reliable support (or theme developers) for help. In the long run, I might have a professional take on a more extensive rebuild of Museum Human.
Hopefully, I won't break too much on the site. All should be resolved in a week or so, but as a confirmed ditherer, expect lots of tweaks in the coming weeks. If you see anything amiss, please let me know in the form on the menu bar or in the comments below. Fingers crossed, and stay tuned!
