Links of the Week (3/30/16)

Links from the week of March 30, 2016, featuring articles on community, transparency, and empathy.

  • This HuffPo article says that museums should be a cultural hub for the community. (Hmm, who else might have said that?)
  • This is from WorkDifferent, my newest workplace org heroes, with some radical steps to bringing transparency to your office, starting with no email or private chats. (Coming before too long: a post on just what "transparency" means, depending on how high up the org chart is the person who said it.)
  • There's more than a bit of the hating-rich-liberal-environmentalists thing here, but this Medium piece, "Contempt by Design," is a good ego check to make sure you're not feeling more-empathetic-than-thou with your hard-to-change colleagues.

(Okay, too many hyphenated words!)
